First Aid/CPR/AED Certification – Adult and Pediatric
This service is taught by a licensed paramedic and American Heart Association instructor. The program geared toward educators in a classroom setting to give adults the skills they need in emergency situations that can arise in a school setting.

Safety and Awareness –Stranger Danger (for students)
From “Stranger Danger” for primary students to awareness skills for students in higher grades, this program has been developed to teach students vital safety skills which include:
- Crossing the Street
- Walking Home Alone
- Navigating Public Transportation Independently
- Basic Self-Defense

Introduction to Law enforcement (for students)
What do police officers do? How do they help us? These questions and more will be answered through our very own student-office bridge program. The goal of the program is to create a relationship between the student body and the police in their community.

Response to Critical Incidents in and Around the School
This program includes prevention and response to critical incidences which include but are not limited to: stabbings, shootings and explosive incidents. The importance of a concrete plan and knowledge of lifesaving tools are paramount in an educational environment.
This is a multi-step program that covers development of a safety plan, creating a Critical Response Team within the school and Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC).
Staff will learn to be proficient in the use of tourniquets, quick clot combat gauze and pressure. This course is taught by a licensed paramedic and member of the Chicago Police Department SWAT Team. This course has been developed for those with no prior medical or tactical knowledge.

Dating Safety
Through discussion and activities, learn what a healthy relationship looks like and warning signs of a lack of respect. Created for students age 12+.
